Aquaculture and Fisheries 


Specifically, this project combines the use of innovative interactive student response technologies by Ph.D. Teaching Assistants to improve learning outcomes by increasing student engagement in the classroom.

Academic Resources


The Department serves a diverse group of both undergraduate and graduate students and grants a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural sciences with options in Plant and Soil Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Education, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Economics and General Agriculture.

Section - Three

Teacher Education


The Center for Teaching, Learning and Advising (CTLA) is designed to promote excellence in teaching at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and provides professional development activities, including workshops, seminars, training sessions, and technical assistance to develop and enhance instructional skills. Its objectives are to increase the number of teachers who demonstrate improved teaching strategies and academic assessment and to increase student retention and graduation rates each year.

Section - Four

Museum and Library Holdings

The University Museum and Cultural Center, established in 2005, is a self-supporting exhibit hall funded solely through grants and private donations. Created for historical reference, this edifice holds photographs, programs, sports memorabilia and legal documentations from Branch Normal College, AM&N College and the University.

Section - Five

Renovation 

The grant provides for construction, maintenance, renovation, and improvement in classroom, library, laboratories, and other instructional facilities, including purchase or rental of telecommunications and technology equipment or services.

Section - Six

Tutoring and Counseling

Faculty and student led tutoring, counseling, and student services programs designed to improve academic success are provided to enhance the academic skills and interests of the student populace.
